In most PC's it takes around 10 seconds or more to completely shut down windows and in a bit older PCs it may cross the 20 second limit also but now you u can shut down windows in the same time which it takes to close an active internet window. How? Here it is.
Shut down windows in a matter of seconds. While shutting down window. open task manager(Ctr+Alt+Del), Select shut down tab. and press ' Ctrl ' key and select Turn Off from this tab. Within 2 seconds windows will shut down.
I have tested this method on various machines with a stop watch and believe me do you know what it is the fastest timing a mere 1.35 seconds n with a bit of practice can wrap up the entire session in a cool 3 seconds
How does this process work??? Try out the answers yourself.

I havent tried it in vsta its works in xp though..
